Services During the Library Closure

  • Learn How to Get a Free Digital Library Card and Sign Up for and Borrow from Hoopla
    To get a jump start on your reading this summer and beyond, Librarian Terry has created instructions on signing up for a free digital library card, signing up for a hoopla account, and borrowing materials in hoopla.
  • Creativebug Arts and Crafts Tutorials
    New at the library! Creativebug inspires you to create and then teaches you how!  Enjoy unlimited access to over 1,000 online art and craft classes, plus patterns, templates, and recipes. Learn more.
  • Contribute to the Camden County Library System Quaranzine
    Has quarantine got you creating? Contribute to CCL's Quaranzine and show us what you've made in response to living in lockdown, whether it's art, poetry, or even a recipe. Your work may be featured on our website in an upcoming Quaranzine issue! 
  • Get your own Gmail Account
    In the age of social distancing many of our school, work, and social activities have moved online, as have many of our library activities! But to use this technology you often need an email. Don't have one, or know someone who needs help getting one? Librarian Terry has created this tutorial on getting your own Gmail account.
  • Ancestry Library Edition
    The Library is usually only able to offer Ancestry Library Edition in our library buildings, but during our closure, Ancestry has made the service available online!  We've created a video on how to access and use Ancestry.
  • Universal Class
    We've created a new video with instructions on using Universal Class.  Interested in continuing your education, expanding your horizons or just learning something for fun? Choose from a diverse range of subjects including computer training, resume writing, home and garden, health and medicine, hobbies, self-help and more.  You can even earn completion certificates!
  • Creating lists in My CamCat
    Are you thinking ahead to all the holds you want to place once the library branches are open again? You can create multiple lists in My CamCat. Then when the libraries open and you can place holds you can place them right from your lists! Here are instructions on how to use the Lists feature in our catalog.

  • New Unlimited Content from Hoopla, Kanopy, and Tumblebooks
    Several of our econtent services are now offering free unlimited collections to supplement the content that the Camden County Library already supplies! 

  • Hoopla is offering Hoopla Bonus Borrows: a collection of nearly 1200 titles for kids and adults in a variety of formats: ebooks, audiobooks, music, movies, comics, and television. 

  • Kanopy, a streaming video service, is offering a collection of more than 50 movies for adults, and unlimited access for children through Kanopy Kids. 

  • Camden County Library System already offers Tumblebooks Library for Kids.  Until August Tumblebooks is offering Tumblebooks Math for Grades K-6.  In addition, there is a collection of ebooks for teens, audiobooks and steamy romance novels for adults. See all the new content!

  • New Video Tutorial on Rosetta Stone

  • Free Digital Content Library Cards for all Camden County Residents During Library Closure
    The Camden County Library System is currently offering a free library card for all Camden County residents to access all of our digital content.  This includes ebooks, audiobooks, emusic, and downloadable video, as well as research and online learning resources for children and adults.  How to sign up for an account
