VOORHEES, NJ – August 8, 2016 –  ADC Kid, a children’s media company, will sponsor and present a youth empowerment event at the Riletta L. Cream Ferry Ave. Branch Library with a focus on how to start and run a business on Saturday, September 24, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. .

Up to thirty high school students are welcome to register for the event that will include brunch and presentations by six different entrepreneurs from the tri-state area, according to Davon Clark, founder of ADC Kid. Clark frequently does readings and presents other literacy programs at the Ferry Ave. library.

In presenting the event ADC Kid is partnering with Project L.I.F.T. , a community service organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Camden by promoting scholarship, enrichment and service among the city’s youth.

Clark said the event will offer “business savvy conversations with entrepreneurs and business owners over brunch followed by panel discussions addressing topics about how to start a business, how to market a business, how to develop and grow a business and more.”

Students from communities across the county are welcome, but must register in advance to attend. To register online go to or call the branch at 856-342-9789.
