Musicians donate time and talents to celebrate music on Monday Oct. 5

VOORHEES, NJ – Sept. 30, 2015 – The Haddon Twp. Branch of the Camden County Library System will host a special concert by a woodwind quintet composed of musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra Monday, Oct. 5, 5 p.m.

Members of the quintet include: Loren Lind, flute; Jonathan Blumenfeld, oboe; Paul Demers, clarinet; Jeffrey Kirschen, horn; and Angela Anderson Smith, bassoon. All are members of the Philadelphia Orchestra’s wind section.

As the quintet’s bassoonist, Smith told the library, “Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians invite communities throughout the region to join us in celebrating music on Monday, Oct. 5.” The concert is free and open to the public.
