Teen/’Tween Sponsored Book Sale Returns to Bellmawr Library

The Bellmawr Branch of the Camden County Library System  will hold a three-day book sale from Thursday, Aug. 9 to Saturday Aug. 11, 2012.

Brian Richards Brings Summer Magic to South County Branch Library

As part of its Dream Big – Read summer program theme for kids, the South County Branch of the Camden County Library System will present local comic magician Brian Richards on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to noon.

Call for Local Authors to Meet Readers, Sign Books at Voorhees Library

The Camden County Library System is offering local writers the chance to promote their books and meet readers at its Evening with Local Authors event on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 7 – 8:30 p.m. The event is free to both participating authors and the public and will take place at the M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library in Voorhees.

3rd Annual Teen Video Contest and Festival @ Voorhees Library

The Voorhees branch of the Camden County Library System is holding its third annual summer video contest for teens that will culminate in a Teen Video Festival on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.  Along with the festival’s judges, the contestants, their families, friends and the general public are welcome to attend and view all the submissions by the teen film makers at this ‘Red Carpet Event’.

Camden County Library Offers Summer Reading Themes and Programs

The Camden County Library System announces a full schedule of 60 program events to celebrate and engage children and teens in its summer reading programs at eight different branches.

Participants can earn points by logging their time spent reading to earn chances for prizes they can win. Registration for any program is available at one of the local branch libraries.

Merchantville Library Enjoys Victorian Tea of 1908

Visitors to the Merchantville branch of the Camden County Library System were treated to the customs of a formal 1908 tea. Rita Parisi, in full costume and assuming the persona Mrs. Jordan, discussed and presented a tea for the assembled ladies on May 16,2012.

Voorhees Library to Stage Giant 2-Day Spring Book Sale, June 8 & 9

The M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library of the Camden County Library System will hold its annual spring book sale on Friday, June 8, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 9, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“It’s one of the biggest library used-book sales in South Jersey. Typically people are lined up and waiting when the doors open for one of our sales,” said Voorhees Branch Manager William Brahms, who manages the event.
