Philly Zoo Creatures from Beneath Your Feet Visit Voorhees Library

VOORHEES, NJ – August 2, 2013 – The Voorhees branch of the Camden County Library System hosted a visit on Saturday, July 20, 2013 for some critters from the Philadelphia Zoo that like to live underground. The Zoo brought four animals for kids to see, meet and learn about as part of the library’s summer reading theme of Dig into Reading for kids.

Singer and Song Writer Sara O’Brien to Perform at Four Libraries

VOORHEES, N.J. – July 3, 2013 -- Singer and song writer Sara O’Brien returns to the Camden County Library System to perform at four different branches in July.

Camden County Library Stages Writers’ Open House at Rutgers Branch

VOORHEES, NJ – July 2, 2013 – Three local authors and two publishers will present workshops on writing and publishing at the Nilsa I. Cruz-Perez Downtown Branch of the Camden County Library System, Saturday, July 13, 1 – 4 p.m.

The open house is designed to offer conversation and networking opportunities for members of the local creative community. Among the authors presenting workshops are Ronnie C. Dawson, “Irreconcilable Differences: ‘Til Death Do Us Part”; Keanna Lynette Ralph, “Detours to Destiny: When the Detour Becomes the Path”; Valerie Anne Todd-Listman, “God’s Will: Inviting and Exciting.”

Camden County Library Announces Summer Reading Themes and Programs

VOORHEES, NJ – June 18, 2013 – The Camden County Library System is pleased to announce a full schedule of programs  to engage children and teens in its summer reading programs at eight different branches starting this month.

The library is joining others across the state and the country in offering programs inspired by an “Underground” theme with “Dig into Reading” for children and “Beneath the Surface” for teen readers
