Four classes on a variety of topics for adults offered in July

VOORHEES, NJ – June 12, 2015 – Learn about different computer programs and the World Wide Web this summer. The Voorhees branch of the Camden County Library is offering several classes on a variety of topics for adults during July.

Being computer literate can be useful for personal business and may even help on the job. Check out a class or two. Please note some classes require familiarity with a computer.

Welcome to the Web
Adult Intermediate.
Tuesday, July 7, 10:30 a.m.
Using a web browser, navigating a webpage, basics of using a search engine. Must know how to use the mouse.

Microsoft Word I
Adult Advanced.
Tuesday, July 14, 7 p.m.
Creating, editing and saving of a word processing document. Must know how to use the mouse.

Microsoft Excel
Adult advanced
Wednesday, July 22, 7 p.m.
Basic overview of the Excel program, working with a spreadsheet, formatting and more. Must know how to use a mouse.

Microsoft Word II
Tuesday, July 28, 7 p.m.
Creating bulleted lists, setting margins, basic tables, inserting clip-art and Word Art.

Registration starts Monday, June 15 for the July classes and can be done online at  or by calling 856-772-1636 x 7388. Classes tend to fill quickly, so don’t delay.
