Freading is a downloadable ebook service from Library Ideas, with over 100,000 titles and more being added each day. All the titles are always available, so there are no waiting lists!  Read the books on your computer or on a portable device.   The books are in epub and pdf format. Library card holders receive 5 tokens each week to be used to check out one to five titles - the most popular books are worth more tokens.  Books may be checked out for two weeks, and may be renewed once.

There is a mobile app available for Apple devices, Kindle Fires, and Droids. The mobile app works with most Android tablets and phones, Apple iPhones and iPads, and the Kindle Fire.  At this time the app works best on tablets.  You must use the Freading website to select and download titles, and it is not optimized for smaller mobile devices, so you will need to scroll and side scroll to see the different features of the site.
