A Citizen’s Request for Reconsideration of Library Materials

A Citizen’s Request for Reconsideration of Library Materials

The Camden County Library system subscribes to the “Library Bill of Rights” of the American Library Association and the “Freedom to Read Statement” of the American Book Publishers Council and the American Library Association. The Collection Development Policy of the Camden County Library System states: “Materials are evaluated as complete works and not on the basis of a particular passage. A work will not be excluded from the Library’s collection solely because it represents a particular aspect of life, frankness of expression, or because it is controversial.”

If you wish to lodge a formal complaint about a book (or other material) in the Library, please complete and submit this form.
