Camden County Library Celebrates Free Comic Book Day at 3 Branches

Free comics will be offered while supplies last on Sat. May 7

 Three branches of the Camden County Library System will be participating in Free Comic Book Day, Sat. May 7, 2016.

VOORHEES, NJ – April 25, 2016 – Three branch libraries of the Camden County Library System will observe Free Comic Book Day Saturday, May 7 with books available while supplies last at the following locations:

William G. Rohrer Memorial Library – Haddon Twp., 15 MacArthur Blvd., Westmont, NJ 08108 - The branch plans to offer goodies and prizes in addition to the comic books.

Nilsa I. Cruz-Perez Downtown Branch (on Rutgers Campus), 301 N. 5th St., Camden, NJ 08102

M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library, 203 Laurel Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043

The books are being provided courtesy of The Comic Station on Station Ave. in Haddon Heights. “We always enjoy participating in Free Comic Book Day at the library, and we can only do so through the generosity of a local merchant like The Comic Station,” remarks Library Associate Director David Lisa.


Established in 1921, Camden County Library System seeks to meet the recreational, informational and educational needs of its customers with locations in Bellmawr, Camden, Gloucester Township, Haddon Township, Merchantville, Winslow Township and Voorhees.   The Library is governed and supported by the Camden County Board of Freeholders and the Camden County Library Commission.
