VOORHEES, NJ – May 19, 2015 – The Camden County Library System joins libraries across the state in offering 2015 summer reading programs based on the themes “Every Hero Has a Story” for children and “Unmask” for teens and tweens.

Participants can register online or at their local branch and pick up a reading log to track all they read during the summer or everything read to the youngest children. Report the hours and titles read to one of the library’s eight branches to earn incentives and chances to win larger prizes at the local branch.

Enrolling children and encouraging teens and tweens to join the program is a great way to maintain and even sharpen reading skills over summer vacation. Registration dates for the programs vary by branch. Call the local branch to find out details.

The library’s different locations (Bellmawr, Ferry Ave. in Camden, Gloucester Twp., Haddon Twp., Merchantville, Downtown Camden, South County and Voorhees) will be offering special programs based on the superhero themes during the summer. Note these events:

  • Mr. Malcolm presents.... Superheroes at Merchantville on Wednesday, June 10, 3:30 p.m.
