Volunteer at the Library

Our volunteers work at many different tasks that enable the library to provide better service to the community. Teens are welcome to participate.  Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or participating through a youth organization, school or church in order to fulfill a community service requirement within a limited time frame (i.e. Scout or school projects).  Summer reading club volunteers must be at least 12 years of age or entering the 6th grade.

For more information about volunteering, call 856-772-1636, or ask at your local branch ( Locations and directions).   You may either fill out our online application or print out an application and mail it to us or drop it off at your local branch.  Print out the Student Permission Slip, have it signed by a parent or guardian, and bring it with you when you come in for orientation.

Teen Advisory Board

Want to help plan programs at your library?  Meet new friends?  Help decide what teen books to add to the teen collection?  The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is the place for you!

The Bellmawr, Ferry Ave., Haddon, South County and Voorhees Branches all have Teen Advisory Boards that meet monthly.

See the current schedule of meetings.
