Grant Funded through ProLiteracy
Literacy Volunteers of Camden County was one of ten ProLiteracy affiliated organizations to be selected nationwide to participate in in a grant-funded pilot financial literacy program. ProLiteracy has received support from American Express to develop a financial literacy education project aimed at teaching money-management skills to women with low literacy.
“Control Your Money: Women and Financial Literacy” is a 90 minute workshop addressing various topics to help women develop their financial literacy skills. LVCC has partnered with Camden County Library System and the Camden County One-Stop Career Center to provide these workshops. Locations, dates and times are as follows:
